I’ve recently graduated in New Media Design and Web Development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology – BCIT and currently I am attending the Applied Web Development Program at BCIT. I am experiencing a huge career change by pursuing an old aspiration.
I moved to Vancouver from Natal and since I have taken my first steps and efforts into my life-changing path – when I started an advertising and marketing program back home – I am facing new challenges, constantly learning and building personal projects with passion and enthusiasm. I’m grateful for every learning and exchange experience I’ve ever had in my life so far. I like to be helpful and to understand people’s passions, way of thinking and needs.
I am a digital enthusiast with love for communication, web design and web development and I’m interested in make experiences more affective, memorable, and worthwhile, either through web, print, digital or any other communication interaction. I’m in love with the whole process of creating something new, innovative solutions for old problems and ways to make things easier and meaningful.
Among other things, I love traveling, reading, playing board games, learning different languages, photography, scrapbooking, colors, authentic smiles and positive energy. I have my own Pomodoro technique, which consists on ten minutes working and fifteen minutes intervals spoiling my dog Torrada.
Experimentation and positive thinking are at the base of my life style and work approach, especially now that I am pursuing my creative career. I am really immersed in the creative tech world right now and making my way on it.
